Auvik and Acronis partner to embed native network management into Acronis RMM

Network management specialist Auvik and cyber protection provider Acronis have announced a strategic OEM partnership to embed Auvik’s automated network monitoring and management technology directly into Acronis RMM. The native integration aims to reduce tool sprawl for managed service providers (MSPs) and internal IT teams by bringing endpoints, servers, and complex network infrastructure into a unified administrative console.

The combined offering, unveiled ahead of MSP Global 2026, directly addresses rising operational friction caused by fragmented IT management stacks across distributed customer sites.

Tackling Vendor Sprawl with Unified Network and Endpoint Operations

Under the OEM agreement, Acronis will integrate Auvik’s network topology mapping, automated device discovery, and traffic insight capabilities natively into the remote monitoring and management (RMM) engine within Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud.

Rather than toggling between disconnected SaaS consoles or managing isolated vendor contracts, IT technicians will gain single-pane-of-glass operational control:

  • Automated Topology Mapping & Discovery: Real-time visibility into switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points without requiring manual agent deployments on every peripheral network device.

  • Streamlined Troubleshooting: Technicians can drill down from high-level network topology maps into individual device diagnostics, configuration histories, and automated backups directly from within Acronis RMM.

  • Operational Scale: Integrates Auvik’s footprint, which spans over one million network devices across 100,000 networks, with Acronis’ global partner base of more than 21,000 service providers protecting 750,000 businesses.

Protecting Service Margins and Accelerating Incident Response

According to leadership from both companies, the integration focuses on improving technician utilization and protecting service margins. Auvik President Mark Ralls noted that tool proliferation drains engineering capacity, while Rick Hebly, Senior Director of Platform Marketing at Acronis, emphasized that deeper network visibility enables faster root-cause diagnosis during service disruptions.

By automating routine network documentation, configuration backups, and performance monitoring alongside endpoint backup and cybersecurity workflows, the platform enables MSPs to expand their managed service portfolio without forcing proportional additions to engineering headcount.

Rollout Timeline and Channel Availability

The natively integrated network management solution is scheduled to become generally available to Acronis RMM customers and channel partners in January 2027.

The deal reflects a broader consolidation trend across the MSP software ecosystem, where vendors are increasingly embedding specialized network, security, and cloud management tools to deliver comprehensive operational platforms.
