Qlik®, a global leader in data integration and analytics, has launched the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool, a powerful new solution designed to help customers and partners transition to the cloud with speed, structure, and scale. The tool is based on the newly acquired Qloud Cover Migration technology from Stretch Qonnect and is now available at no cost through Qlik or certified partners.

For organizations still relying on the company’s legacy deployments, including QlikView®, Qlik Sense®, and NPrinting®, the complexity of migration has been a major barrier to cloud adoption. The Qlik Analytics Migration Tool addresses this head-on by automating the full modernization journey - from metadata extraction to cloud configuration, dashboard replication, and built-in validation.
“Too many organizations want to modernize but are stuck,” said Roberto Sigona, Chief Operating Officer at Qlik. “This is about clearing that roadblock and making cloud migration responsible, practical, and immediate.”
Key benefits of the Qlik Analytics Migration Tool
Faster migration planning through automated metadata extraction and cloud mapping
Error-free automation of Qlik apps, data connections, and legacy syntax adjustments
Flexible workflows for both phased and full cutover strategies
Visual continuity with seamless migration of dashboards to Qlik Cloud
Risk mitigation via built-in rollback, backups, and validation tools
To jumpstart adoption, Qlik is also offering complimentary Qlik Cloud tenants to customers without existing cloud environments, enabling fast proof of concept and onboarding. The free tenancy will be valid until the next renewal date.
The migration tool is deeply integrated with Qlik Cloud APIs and governance frameworks, allowing large enterprises and partners to migrate complex deployments with confidence.
“We built this tool to solve the real-world problems holding teams back,” said Martin Sahlin, CEO of Stretch Qonnect. “It’s been tested across industries, and now Qlik is taking it global.”
The tool also supports self-service as well as partner-led engagements, giving customers flexibility while turning what were once long, expensive projects into repeatable, high-impact initiatives.
“This tool helped us migrate thousands of analytics assets globally while maintaining control and continuity,” said Stine Thomasen, Senior Manager for BI at pharmaceutical company Lundbeck. “It’s laid the foundation for faster insights and data-driven innovation.”
