Kaseya, a leading global provider of IT management and cybersecurity software, has released its Fall 2025 Innovation Spotlight, which includes over 90 new features and enhancements aimed at dramatically boosting automation, security, and profitability for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

The extensive update, which follows major announcements made at the company's DattoCon 2025 conference, reinforces Kaseya's strategy to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end IT and security platform tailored for small and medium businesses.

Core focus: AI-driven automation and digital workforce

A central theme of the Fall 2025 release is embedding practical AI across operational workflows to reduce reliance on manual labor, enabling MSPs to scale without increasing headcount. Here are some of the new AI/automation features that have been integrated into Kaseya’s solutions.

Smart Ticket Triage for Autotask PSA - Automatically categorizes, prioritizes, and routes incoming service tickets based on content, drastically cutting down technician response time.

Automated Backup Reporting for Datto Endpoint Backup - Automatically generates Quarter Business Review (QBR)-friendly executive reports across all managed assets, eliminating hours of manual reporting.

  • Smart Investigate for Datto EDR - Uses AI to analyze Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) alerts, surfacing clear, actionable guidance for threat response and eliminating manual analysis.

  • Automation Center for Integrations for KaseyaOne - Provides a personalized catalog to easily discover and enable automated workflows across the entire Kaseya product ecosystem.

Kaseya is also continuing to develop its AI-powered Digital Workforce, a revolutionary offering slated for limited availability in Spring 2026, which uses agentic learning to "think, assess, and act" like a top-tier human technician.

Cybersecurity and data protection enhancements

The release strengthens Kaseya's security stack with crucial new capabilities, building on the recent acquisition of AI-powered email security provider INKY and the unveiling of new hardware.

  • Datto SIRIS 6: The latest generation of the powerful backup appliance was launched, offering the highest value recovery capabilities at the lowest market cost, providing enterprise-caliber protection for small businesses.

  • Datto Backup for Microsoft Entra ID: A new purpose-built backup and recovery solution to specifically protect identity data (users, groups, and roles) in the critical Entra ID environment. This capability is included free with the Kaseya 365 User subscription.

  • IT Glue: Introduced Safe Password Sharing, allowing secure password sharing with parties outside of IT Glue using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and expiration controls.

  • SaaS Alerts: Added Customer event-based Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), allowing MSPs to build precise threat detections and reduce alert noise.

Commercial flexibility and partnership focus

The company also announced a major policy change, effective December 2025, moving away from its controversial High Watermark pricing for products like Datto RMM and Autotask. These products will transition to a Committed Minimum Quantity and Variable Consumption model, offering MSPs greater commercial flexibility.

"MSPs want to grow faster, expand margins and protect customers from rising cyberthreats, without having to increase labor cost," said Jim Lippie, Chief Product Officer at Kaseya. "We are accelerating our pace of innovation to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and lead the market as the only true end-to-end IT and security platform for small businesses.”
