Armis, the leader in cyber exposure management, has officially announced the launch of Armis Centrix™ for Vulnerability Management Detection and Response (VMDR). The new solution is designed to provide organizations with real-time, continuous visibility into their entire attack surface, specifically targeting the speed and scale of modern AI-driven cyberattacks.

Unlike traditional vulnerability scanners that often rely on periodic 4-6 week cycles and can cause significant network strain, Armis Centrix™ for VMDR operates with 90% less network impact. The platform leverages the Armis AI-powered Asset Intelligence Engine to discover and analyze an organization's environment before a single scan is even conducted.
"Waiting weeks for a vulnerability scan that still misses essential assets is no longer sufficient to combat AI-powered cyberattacks," said Nadir Izrael, CTO and Co-Founder at Armis. "Our new solution delivers more accurate, targeted results with a fraction of the scans, allowing security teams to shift from a reactive posture to real-time detection."
Continuous awareness across all asset types
The solution provides unified coverage across IT, IoT, cloud, and cyber-physical systems (CPS). By integrating real-time data from the Armis Vulnerability Intelligence Database, security teams can precisely validate which vulnerabilities are actively being weaponized.
This "intelligence-driven" approach has been shown to reduce vulnerability workloads by up to 98% by filtering out noise and focusing exclusively on high-risk issues.
Key features of the new VMDR module include:
Predictive prioritization: Uses asset context and threat intelligence to identify "crown jewel" assets and prioritize remediation.
Evidence-based assessment: Employs selective, safe active queries to validate risks without disrupting operational continuity.
Seamless integration: Connects with over 200 existing IT and security tools, including ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for automated ticketing and remediation.
The launch comes on the heels of Armis being named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for CPS Protection Platforms for the second consecutive year. As organizations move toward Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), Armis Centrix™ for VMDR provides the essential foundation for a proactive, rather than reactive, defense strategy.
Armis Centrix™ for Vulnerability Management Detection and Response is immediately available for global customers.
